Our goal was to help cross-functional teams like CX, Product, and Marketing make faster, data-driven decisions by integrating a conversational AI assistant into Chattermill’s analytics platform. We worked in close collaboration with AI engineers, product managers, and legal teams to ensure the solution was both powerful and responsible.
Key design challenges included re-engaging inactive users, building credibility with enterprise clients, and ensuring the quality of AI-generated insights. Through iterative testing, we learned that users preferred a hybrid model of search and chat, with strong visual support and clear data citations.
The final product featured a calm, user-friendly interface designed to guide users through curated topics and customizable insights. It made complex AI functionality feel intuitive and trustworthy, proving that great design can humanize technology and drive adoption.
